Parent Testimonials
I am so grateful for the opportunity you have provided for the monthly Parent Night. As busy parents it’s all too often that we focus all of our energies into our children and other vital responsibilities (which is how it should be) but sometimes we don’t take time out to invest in our partners, which is equally as important.
One of my personal goals this year was to make a monthly date night with my husband and I was happily surprised to learn about Parent’s Night Out. We have very few family members in the area who can watch our precious little one, so this is a gift we can look forward to each month. It gives us a time to reconnect and enjoy quality one-on-one time while having the peace of mind that our son is in great hands, in a place that he loves. That means more to us than you know. The price is extremely reasonable and includes dinner and activities. We know our child is safe and happy and we also have the chance to enjoy a night out on the town. And, when parents are happy, our kids are happy too. It’s a win-win situation.
I truly encourage other parents to take advantage of the opportunity and to share this monthly event with friends and family. It would be great to continue this wonderful event and I thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making this event possible. We appreciate your efforts!
Sincerely,
Olivia, Andy, and Alejandro
I wanted to write this letter to extend my gratitude. I have really enjoyed the experiences I have had with Mini-Skool since my son started attending over four months ago. Iain loves going to school and speaks highly of his teachers, Ms. Grace and Ms. Sarah. Even on mornings when Iain is feeling sad about leaving his mommy, Ms. Grace always holds him and consoles him while I leave. It is so nice to know that my child is in a safe, supportive, caring environment with teachers who are sensitive to his needs. It puts my mind at ease and I just wanted to thank all of you for all your hard work and dedication.

I want you to know how much I appreciate the care that you give my children when they are at Mini-Skool. The best thing that I could do for my children, besides stay home with them myself was to enroll them in Mini-Skool. Tyler, my now three year old, was unable to really talk and his words are getting clearer every day. My oldest son had a codependent problem with his brother and he has outgrown that with the help of letting them see each other at times but allowing them to develop their own personalities and differences. My daughter was an infant when she first started going and now she is learning so much at such a young age. It is unbelievable that one school can make such a difference in our children’s lives. There have been times that I had crying kids at home because they wanted to go to their school. Another thing that I like as a mother is the fact that each child knows every teacher as each teacher knows every child. This helps knowing that your child is safe and will not ever be forgotten. The children feel safe with each teacher and are willing to go to them if they have problems. Another thing that I love is the fact that each child is greeted every morning. The concern when a child falls or hurts himself in some way is wonderful, papers are filled out and there is a running watch on the injury. If there is any concern at all, they are always answered in a timely fashion or at that time. I could not ask for better daycare for my children than Mini-Skool. I know for one that my children will be with Mini-Skool until they cannot go any longer.
Thank you for taking such good care of my kids!!!

Mini-Skool is the best daycare I’ve found in town!!! Their prices are great and their hours of operation have got to be the best around. The whole entire staff is very friendly and I especially love the staff in the baby room, and so does my daughter. I would definitely recommend them to ANYONE.

Thanks for all your hard work and great care for my children. The excellent facility and personnel have always provided me with a great feeling of pride that I chose Mini-Skool for daycare. The competent and loving people that work here will always keep a warm feeling in my heart. The people are what make this daycare what it is today. I will always feel good about bringing my children here for care. The curriculum for learning is great and diverse and very on the point of the teachings I like for my children. Well, that’s about it. You are the BEST at what you do. Thanks again.

My child has been attending the Mini-Skool on 29th Street for five months. I love this school for so many reasons. One, the staff is so friendly and they actually know my child and her quirks, good and bad!!
She also learns so much from the Zoo-Phonics curriculum. She comes home every day with lots to talk about. I also love how it’s a small school with small class sizes. My child is not lost in the crowd. Any child who gets to attend
Mini-Skool is a lucky child.

I wanted to take this time to thank the staff and teachers at Mini-Skool for taking such great care of Gracie and Harrison. This is a well over due Thank You! It’s been 2 years since I first brought them into the daycare and from that first week I knew they were going to be well taken care of each and everyday. Its hard being a working parent and having to leave your children each day with someone who isn’t you, but now I consider each teacher and staff member like extended family. I see it in the twin’s faces how happy they are in the morning to greet the teachers with hugs and at night sometimes they don’t want to leave without saying Good Bye or giving hugs to everyone. As you all may know we left all of our family back in Pennsylvania over 3 years ago to move here. We are always having family come to visit and they all want to come to the daycare to see the twins in their daily routines. We get nothing but positive feedback from their grandparents and Aunt about how nice the daycare is, how happy the twins are there and how friendly the staff is. This makes us very happy to hear, since from day one we knew this was a good place for our kids. I can’t name every teacher or staff member, because I don’t want to leave anyone out but I will just say a big THANK YOU to all of you for everything that you do to make Eric and myself comfortable in leaving the twins in your care daily. We appreciate it so very much!!
Lastly, I also wanted to give a special thanks to Eileen and the front desk staff for the yummy chicken, chips and goodies that was given to me the week Eric was away in Pennsylvania taking care of his mom. This was such a nice thoughtful gift and very well appreciated. Not having to cook that night while taking care of the twins was amazing!! So thank you!

I would like to express my and my husband’s appreciation for the staff and organization of Mini-Skool. We are grandparents raising our grandchildren and, as such, do not have a peer group that provides support as younger parents would naturally have. Consequently, this daycare center has become our home away from home, our extended family, and our friends.
The staff willingly helps us in any way they can. My oldest grandchild has been here for ten years and my younger one has been here for four and a half years. Part of what my girls have become over time is through the time and effort afforded my grandchildren by Mini-Skool. We’ve been through special diseases, growing pains, and protective orders and the girls continue to flourish under their care and guidance. I truly love having them as part of our lives.

I have two boys that attend Mini-Skool, Russell and Michael Todd. My boys have been going to the Bonanza school for over five years now. They both enjoy their school very much. Most of the teachers and staff have remained there over this time. It is very easy for my boys to go into a class when they see the same smiling face everyday. I also leave them there with the peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for. Over the years, the staff and teachers have always made an extra effort to keep the smiles on my boys’ faces and their tummies full. It’s nice to be able to find a school that has such a caring staff.
Thank you for helping my boys grow up with smiles, full tummies, and most of all, thank you for helping them learn.

I am prior military, and have nine children. I have had more than my share of dealings with and finding new day care for my children. I wanted to write to you and tell you how extremely happy we are to have found Mini-Skool for our children. The office staff and the childcare personnel have always been extremely helpful no matter what our issue has been. They are always so understanding and willing to work with us to provide the best environment for our children at all times. Even when our kids have had issues that all parents know happen their handling of the situation has always made us fell very confident that our children are extremely well taken care of. We have several special needs children that require extra time from the childcare personnel and always not only have they been able to provide that extra time, they have also taken the time to write down anything that they thought was important enough for us to be told. Their documentation of events we have used to help us explain issues to our Doctors and other professionals that we take our children to.
We want to thank them all for all they do for us and our children.

Mini-Skool has been a wonderful blessing for our family. I spent three months shopping day care centers for my toddler, and we had such a great experience with Mini-Skool that we knew it was the right place for our son. I am thrilled with the learning programs they have in place and I love knowing that I can stop in at anytime and know that my son is getting the best care possible. The staff is so friendly and outgoing; they make you feel like you are not just another parent. I would recommend Mini-Skool to any parent that comes in – and I have.

This letter is to let you know how much we love having our daughter, Alexandra, enrolled in daycare with the Mini-Skool Early Learning Center in Tumwater, WA. Alexandra first began daycare in September 2007 at just over three months old and we chose Mini-Skool because when we went to tour the facility the primary provider in the “Bunny Room” (Miss Shay) was so kind to my wife and I; she seemed to care so much about the babies in her room. We were encouraged to come and visit Alexandra during the day and were happy with the care we saw her receiving when we visited. It wasn’t just the providers in the Bunny Room – EVERYONE at Mini-Skool was so kind and caring to our baby.
Alexandra has now moved into the “Tiger Room” for children aged 1-2. We know that she is well taken care of and happy while she is there. We are provided with information every day about what she did, what she ate, when she took a nap, etc. We are very happy to take home her artwork and other projects she makes from time to time. She has even learned some sign language.
I am happy to endorse Mini-Skool in Tumwater and as a testament to how satisfied we have been with their program our second daughter is now enrolled in the Bunny Room in November.

We have been with Mini Skool for little over a year. My daughters were 4 and 1 when they started. They have really excelled in all areas since starting with
Mini-Skool. I can see a great improvement in their social skills, academic skills, their respect for others, minding of the rules and following direction (just to name a few). We have been very satisfied with all the staff. My children LOVE to go to school every day. They can’t wait to tell me all about their day and what they learned. We have had all our kids in daycare since they were babies and
Mini Skool has been one of the best all the way around.

I just wanted to express my thoughts about the Lacey Mini-Skool Center (Sleater Kinney). I have been having my 2 little girls going to this center that is off Sleater Kinney since opening day. It is so wonderful that after 2 years when I walk in, I can see the same two faces there to greet me.
Jeanine and Sam, the administrative staff are so sweet and show my kids stability that is very important in families. I know that there are teachers who come and go in the classroom and we hope that we can keep those teachers that are so great and wonderful for our kids. Knowing that at least this center has always had the same director and assistant makes me happy and makes it easy for me as a parent to communicate my family needs. I appreciate this center and their staff and wanted it expressed!
