22nd Street Preschool and Child Care
As parents ourselves, we understand that choosing the best educational child care for your child is one of the hardest decisions you have to make. By providing an environment for your child where they can grow and thrive, we are confident that Mini-Skool in Tucson, AZ is the best preschool you can choose.
At Mini-Skool we integrate the two most important elements in any child care or preschool to give your child a fun and educational experience – amazing teachers and a contemporary curriculum. Combined, the value our preschool offers is unparalleled. We extend our school’s value by including nutritious meals and enrichment classes such as Spanish, Sports, and Technology without additional fees.
To give you a better idea about all that our school has to offer we are excited to introduce you to Angela Alday, our Preschool Director at Mini-Skool in Tucson, Arizona.
Welcome to 22nd Street!
We are a licensed child care center that provides care for children ages six weeks through twelve years of age. We understand that every child is his or her own unique person with individual physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. In respecting this, we provide a safe and nurturing environment in which every child can learn the social values, self-confidence and decision-making skills needed to grow into positive, healthy and strong individuals.
We recognize that quality programs where children have a balance of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum, lead by trained staff, promote concrete experiences needed to cultivate growth. Currently, we are using “Creative Kaleidoscope of Learning” and “Zoo Phonics” as our foundational curriculum. These programs help our staff to develop age appropriate lesson plans and activities. Your child’s day will include sand and water play, books and music, creative arts, blocks and dramatic play. Outdoor activities are planned everyday to encourage physical activity. Infants are encouraged to gain self-confidence by exploring their environment while maintaining their individual sleeping and eating patterns.
Family participation is encouraged. Our open door policy welcomes parents to be active participants in their child’s development. Our staff is aware of the importance of communication with families and work hard to develop lasting relationships with the children in their care and their families.
We provide free transportation to and from Children Reaching for the Sky (CRS) and Robison Elementary School.
We would love to show you our center and introduce you to our staff.
Thank you,
