PARENT TESTIMONIAL

Thanks for all your hard work and great care for my children. The excellent facility and personnel have always provided me with a great feeling of pride that I chose Mini-Skool for daycare. The competent and loving people that work here will always keep a warm feeling in my heart. The people are what make this daycare what it is today. I will always feel good about bringing my children here for care. The curriculum for learning is great and diverse and very on the point of the teachings I like for my children. Well, that’s about it. You are the BEST at what you do.Thanks again.

Welcome to 22nd Street!

We are a licensed child care center that provides care for children ages six weeks through twelve years of age. We understand that every child is his or her own unique person with individual physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. In respecting this, we provide a safe and nurturing environment in which every child can learn the social values, self-confidence and decision-making skills needed to grow into positive, healthy and strong individuals.

We recognize that quality programs where children have a balance of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum, lead by trained staff, promote concrete experiences needed to cultivate growth. Currently, we are using “Creative Kaleidoscope of Learning” and “Zoo Phonics” as our foundational curriculum. These programs help our staff to develop age appropriate lesson plans and activities. Your child’s day will include sand and water play, books and music, creative arts, blocks and dramatic play. Outdoor activities are planned everyday to encourage physical activity. Infants are encouraged to gain self-confidence by exploring their environment while maintaining their individual sleeping and eating patterns.

Family participation is encouraged. Our open door policy welcomes parents to be active participants in their child’s development. Our staff is aware of the importance of communication with families and work hard to develop lasting relationships with the children in their care and their families.

We provide free transportation to and from Children Reaching for the Sky (CRS) and Robison Elementary School.

We would love to show you our center and introduce you to our staff.

Yours truly,
Angela Alday
Center Director
