To give you a better idea about all that our school has to offer we are excited to introduce you to Bethany Myers, our Preschool Director at Mini-Skool in Olympia, Washington.

Located in the Lacey Olympia area of Washington, we are a small, cozy child care center that is geared for children ages six weeks to four years old. Our center is perfect because we are able to provide more one-on-one attention to the children in our care. All the children get to know every teacher because we are such a tight knit center. This gives the children a stronger sense of comfort and security. Even though we are a “small” center, we are “big” on love and learning!

Our center has a “Safari Theme” which the children and parents find warm and inviting. We have four classrooms that are full of energy and love. Our “Giraffe” room (infants), is full of bright colored objects along with all the TLC your infant needs. The 12 month olds up to 24 month olds get to enjoy more steps of learning and exploring in our “Zebra” classroom. The “Elephants” classroom (2 year olds) and the “Lions” classroom (3-4 year olds) both have a phenomenal preschool curriculum as well as fun art projects, circle time and of course, lots of play.

We have two large playgrounds, with covered and uncovered areas. Each playground has age-appropriate equipment and all children have the pleasure of exploring the outside. Our kitchen is a small home-style kitchen, where healthy and delicious meal preparation takes place for the children. The meals are age-appropriate and follow USDA Menu standards.
